Real communication with native speaker is a perfect opportunity to know how foreign colleagues accept your academic writing. In addition, you will get useful recommendations and advice for improving the language component of your research.
Janet Adams is the English Language Fellow for the Moscow region. Janet is from Oklahoma in the Midwestern United States. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Kansas where she worked with international students. Janet has taught English in eight countries and enjoys learning about ethnic and cultural diversity. She teaches each of the language skills, but her specialty is teaching academic writing. Janet currently teaches academic writing at NUST MISiS in Moscow.
During the practical part of the consultation you will learn how to build the text logically and how to use the lexical and grammatical constructions in the correct way.
You can bring your written works to the consultantion, including scientific articles, master’s theses, abstracts (or presentations) to the conference, grant proposals, cover letter, and resumes.
