SUMMARY:NAWE Conference 2022
DESCRIPTION:\nRenewal & Resilience: Creative Writing in Education and Communities in 2022 and Beyond\n10 - 12 March 2022\, Online\nWe are delighted to announce that the next NAWE Conference will take place online from Thursday 10 - Saturday 12 March 2022.\n\nThe conference will build on the success of our first online conference in 2021\, and will include a mixture of curated panels and talks\, as well as submissions from both NAWE members.\n\nWe welcome high quality submissions from writers in education in all settings\, as well as from arts professionals involved in creative writing pedagogy.\n\nTo submit a proposal\, read our call for proposals here (Submissions are now closed.)\n\nIn light of continued uncertainty around restrictions\, we have decided to keep next year's conference online\, accessible and affordable. We hope to move back to in-person events later in 2022. In the Spring\, we plan to hold a virtual Open Space along the lines of last year's successful event.\n\nBooking opens in December.\n\nWe will be updating our programme right up to the event\, so check back soon for more information.\n\nDeadlines:\n\n6 September 2021 – call for proposals opens\n1 November 2021 – call for proposals closes\n6 December 2021 – successful applicants notified\, programme online\n13 December 2021 – registration opens\n31 January 2022 – early bird closes\n10 March 2022 – conference opens
