Public 3-Day Seminars were held at NUST “MISIS” on the topic of Academic Writing and Presenting with Impact.

The core questions of the seminar were: how to find your audience, what you need to know before you start, how to catch the attention and be prepared to answer any tricky questions.

Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Timothy E. O’Connor and Gareth Wynn Owen, Head of Science and Innovation, British Embassy Moscow visited the meeting.

NUST “MISiS” Phd students took active part in seminars. The seminar was prepared and presented by Dr Martin Penny , who is a trainer with over 15 years of experience of working with PhD and postdoc researchers in developing their communication, team working, leadership, and career development skills.
