We welcome our new senior lecturer at the NUST MISiS Writing Center: Leticia Medina from Texas, US.
This academic year 2019/2020, she will work with us and deliver courses on communication in the sciences as well as academic presentation skills. New Recycling Technology for Heavy Duty Military Batteries

NUST MISIS scientists together with JSC “Shchelkovo Plant of Secondary Precious Metals” developed an innovative cascade method for purifying silver from spent batteries used in submarines and military aircraft. Secondary use of pure precious metal from one such battery can help save up to 500 million RUR for creating a new one.

NUST MISIS opens English-taught postgraduate programmes

In 2019, NUST MISIS for the first time opens enrollment on English-taught postgraduate programmes in two areas: “Physics and Astronomy” and “Materials Technology”. Postgraduate students will have the opportunity to work as part of international research groups on the basis of modern world-class laboratories and to undergo internships at leading universities in Europe and in the US.
